about
The Bee Gees were always more interested in writing songs than in becoming disco icons and while the world will never forget "Saturday Night Fever," all the bands on this tribute (with one beautiful exception) end up covering material from the '60s. Not only do you get some of the best songs that the Bee Gees ever wrote, but the interpretations done by these twee-pop bands are full of warmth and respect. Some may never be able to escape the notion of the Bee Gees as disco gods, but for those with deeper sentiments, this tribute shows that good songwriting will never go out of style. - E.Smith

This is absolutely beautiful! I am so happy the Under the Bridge releases led me down this road. It's unexpectedly spacious and just makes me happy! It's very hard to pick a favorite and I will not be skipping tracks as I play through this repeatedly. zq9mare1
